Vettech:
Thanks Scotty, after much reassessment, I decided they were glued at each end and the Middle slotted track section was a tight fit and years of the rubber naturally adhering to the slots, so I glued each end and used the screws, hen worked it in, once in it stayed in. Windows go up snuggly, now if it clears up I'll try either the A pillar or B pillar / halo.
