Machines & Macchiatos

Sydney Machina Social Club is a brand new, modern motoring social club, dedicated to the motoring enthusiast community. It is where proud owners will be able to unite while having a chat, meet new and old friends, share a coffee & a nice brekki in a wonderful location.

You can also keep up to date through our Facebook page:

https://www.facebook.com/SydneyMachinaSocialClub

Yesterday was the inaugural event, 3rd Sunday of every month; the next one's on March 15, 8am - 10am.

Clontarf Reserve

It was a great event and well organised. I was greeted upon entry by a marshall that gave me an entry gift (showbag with some car magazines) and while parking another marshall came along to guide me reversing.

A raffle was also held and at the raffle desk they even had some freebie Sting Ray key rings.

Here's some photos of the day.

I was lucky to win one of the raffle prizes; a coffee pod machine and pods.

^ Raffle winners

I had actually won first prize again but decided to be a good sport and told them to do a redraw.

The red Thunderbird took out the people's choice award, he scored car detailing from one of the sponsors.

Ya gotta be in it to win it.

I'm thinking I might do a run next month in Gwen to this one.
Don't think there is anything better on the day (19th July).
Anyone interested  :what:

I've been trying to get to this one for a few months now but things keep getting in the way. Hopefully this is the month so count me in at this stage.  :thumb:

Collaroy Beach Hotel has recently been renovated and the food there is very good and not too pricey. Metered parking in the adjacent carpark but free along Pitwater Rd. Can also keep an eye on the cars.  :thumb:

This weekend, July 19th. Social media has a few corvettes travelling from all suburbs attending this one.
Some of us will meet on the Southern side of the Spit Reserve car park (Pearl Bay) around 7:30 or just rumble up to Clontarf Reserve @ 8:00

:thumb: 76vett suggested Collaroy Beach Hotel for lunch, great location & views, parking could be an issue for a large group of cars.
Any other suggestions on where it could be Corvette friendly for lunch gang?

Can meet on the M2 somewhere if any one is running up that way.

There's a pull over area 500m past the Seven Hills Rd overpass. 72 VET suggests 7:00. See you there.
