MY081:
Its an 86

MY081:
Beat me by 3 minutes uncle Doug

Vettech:
That's only because I was rushing as i thought they got Kevin Petersen out.

coradict72:
yes its an 86 tell by the pace car badge all 86 roadsters were designated pace cars
It also has 1 brake fluid bowl 88-89 has 2.
The car is fitted with 17 inch wheels from an 89
and there wider than stock for the year
The 86 by your pics is a mirror conversion brakes and heater swapped
Does the car come with the conversion documents very important
this conversion maybe was done in Victoria.
and has aftermarket cd player
When you light it up ignition there should be
a red ABS symbol then goes out the first year for
ABS and aluminium heads
AS I said before compared to the beaut red 89   which is
a high benchmark there are many changes on your car
away from an 86 I would love one of these LHD cause of ABS
and the pace car thats what I'd call it' pace car
Bowling green plant made 7315 convertibles with 2682 white cars
vin started as 1G1YY6789G5900001

I,d take off the 89 wheels go stock or at least go with the 92 wheels
again does it have the conversion compliance and paperwork ?
just helping you understand

We are back home now (1 1/2hrs away from car) Not sure of paperwork, just know it is currently registered in NSW, father in law and paperwork don't mix, mother in law did the paperwork but she is now in a nursing home after strokes so bit hard to know and ask where to look and if there is paperwork on the car, they have boxes and boxes and boxes of paperwork from the last 50years stored under the house.

We hope to offer the car for sale as is, where is when I can show him what experts think its worth.
Much difference in price if we can not find paperwork?
Would there be a compliance plate on the car somewhere? I couldn't find one

Thank you all
