Baby Vette
« on: November 27, 2014, 09:17:43 AM »
A few days before my daughters first birthday, she taught herself to climb out of her cot.  As it's a long fall once she gets to the top, we had to make alternate plans.  A quick scan of the internet revealed a cheap cot sized bed was $180 and anything cool was much more.

So I did what any normal father would do.  I went shopping at bunnings, hid in the shed, fired up the computer and video projector and built a bed.

The hood lifts to reveal a toy box in the front (and I know it lifts the wrong way) and there is a drawer underneath for more storage.

She spent her first night in it last night and loved it.

And how could the little one not love it, it’s a C3 after all.
Nice work Scott.   :thumb:

Thanks guys.  I'm pretty happy with it, and so is the bub.  Her nephews are pretty envious of it as well.
