August 17 Shannons Sydney Classic 2014 CMC Day #CE056 Now with pics

(1/8) > >>

Miss Independent:
:hi: Just in from CMC if anyone is interested. As yet tickets are not available but I will let you know as soon as I have them. :thumb:

It’s that time of year again when the CMC is seeking volunteers to help out with the setting up and management of the Shannons Sydney Classic on Saturday 16th & Sunday 17th August.

For those of you who haven’t volunteered before; we need volunteers on the Saturday to assist with the laying out of the parking and “stuffing” the Shannons goodie bags.

On the Sunday it is handing out goodie bags to participants on entry, directing spectators to parking etc, directing traffic and marshalling clubs so that they park correctly, and overall management of the event.

This year the CMC is providing (at their expense with lunch included)  a 6-hour certificate course in traffic management on Saturday 12th July at Sydney Motorsport Park.  If you would like to take part then please let me know ASAP so I can book you a spot.

The Shannons Nationals are on that weekend with an endurance race for Production Touring cars.  Saturday is qualifying day and you will be able to take a break during the course to have a wander around the pit area and check out the cars and maybe meet some interesting people!

Regards
Julie

Miss Independent:
Tickets have finally arrived . The club has purchased 35 tickets at a cost of $15.00 each. We are in area B.
If you would like to attend please send your payment in or EFT and let me know. Tickets will be available to collect at the club meeting or for those who do not attend postage will be arranged. Lost tickets are your responsibility so when you receive it please place it in your cars glove box. Please do not leave it till the last week to purchase as you will be disappointed. Once sold we cannot get any more.
Entry is from approx 7.30am -9.30 and you may leave after lunch or our parade lap. I don't know what time we are scheduled in for our lap and probably will not know until the day.
Upon arrival your sticker will be on the windscreen or visible on the front of the vehicle. If it is not stuck on you will be refused entry until it is,so avoid holdups and do it in the morning before leaving home.
The window/entry ticket this year has the following benefits
- entry on Sunday 17th August to the display area for the display vehicle and all its passengers.
- a commemorative badge and a copy of the Preserve, the program for the day that will be in s goodie bag handed to all entrants at the gates on Sunday morning.
-Track tour but all members must respect the requirements of the ARDC and our insurer CAMS. We have accepted full responsibility for our members actions. You should be aware of the rules. CMC will have fixed and touring observers on the day. This is a serious insurance and regulation requirement,so please do not treat it lightly.-
-Saturday super sprint and trade show in the pit garages

Anyone who is interested in entering their vehicle for Concours please contact me.
