One of our suppliers has gone to MAP pricing, which restricts what we can publicly advertise their products for. These restrictions include discount coupon codes, which has come under debate recently in regards to what constitutes “in the door.” The FTC and the circuit courts have ruled in the favor of the vendors in regards to this matter, but there is still scrutiny and laws to be written. The higher courts have all ruled in favor of the manufacturers in regards to MAP pricing, but only when the manufacturers are strictly a manufacture and not competing retail with their vendors. At this time we will honor their restrictions.
Now, what is considered “in the door” is if we email message you the current sales direct to your email account, or if you log into your account on “OUR” site.
