Yes, it was Impressive, but very expensive. :omg: back on topic
I think a 25% increase in fuel consumption between a mid 70 carb 350 with no overdrive and an LS powered commodore is extremely optimistic.
If fuel consumption is important, then a late C4 is probably the way to go. :thumb:

Defintitely agree with you there anychev, .... i get great mileage out of mine... im running a 3.07 ratio in the rear and on the highway, in fourth she cruises at 1800-2000 rpm 110km
