MY081:
I had a close look at Rons 68 at Toowoomba convention this car is really beautiful and great value in my opinion, unusual color combination also .Id love to know how many came in that color combination.
69VETTE:
Ray, i definitely agree with you on this car. .its a beautiful example and a very rare colour vette. Its a terrible shame that he has to sell his baby. I remember seeing this car when it first came into the country, back in 2007 and thinking, what a great buy, mind you Ron has improved and restored a few things during his possession. I wish i had the spare change.

Here are the sales by body colour for 1968, according to the Corvette Black Book.
Interesting to see green just pipped blue as top seller that year, with silver, bronze and yellow ahead of red.
British Green 4779 16.7%
LeMans Blue 4722 16.5%
Silverstone Silver 3435 12.0%
Corvette Bronze 3374 11.8%
Safari Yellow 3133 11.0%
Rally Red 2918 10.2%

Cordovan Maroon 1155 4.0%
Tuxedo Black 708 2.5%
Non-std (Pink) 1 0.0% *** rumoured
Total 28566 100.0%
Don't have stats for Corvette Bronze interiors, but the "suggested interiors" stated are Black, Dark Orange and Tobacco. I guess the one pictured is Dark Orange? (opt code = 425 vinyl, 426 leather)
I should add that 2,898 buyers opted for the L71 427/435 Tri-power option.
