Hi all
I thought I'd share our weekend with you. Lynne and I and our best friends had a great tour out to New England which was a quick 800km blast.
The road from Port Macquarie to Walcha is one of the best driving roads ever, over 80km of severe twists and turns ideal for the cars to stretch their legs.
We first visited the New England Brewery at Uralla (near Armidale) for stock, then to Tamworth and on to Willow Tree where we stayed at the pub. The pub has an amazing restaurant with the best steaks ever. It's been on TV and I highly recommend staying for dinner.
On Sunday we had a nice drive around Nundle, Hanging Rock (anyone remember the hill climb) and Chaffey Dam. An awesome weekend finished off driving back down the twisty mountain.
We compared our fuel economy with the Stang and am pleased to confirm the Stang is THIRSTY!!!
