Hi, I’m Sam and my wife is Emilia.
I’ve always wanted one day to own a 1966 Corvette, as that year is very sentimental to me. My father owned a 1966 Chevy Impala that he purchased brand new and was in our family for 40 years.
It has taken me 3 years to find my dream car. In September 2012 with the help from our club secretary Tracy, I found the car I was always looking for.
Tracy found the car on a US corvette forum for me, it was owned by Greg Seigler in Riverside California.
We had it inspected by Automobile Inspections in CA. They sent us 200 photos of the car and an extensive report. With the positive results contained within that report we then decided to purchase the car with great excitement.
The car is a 1966 corvette stingray convertible in Nassau blue, numbers matching, 327-350 HP, 4 speed manual, with hard top and white soft top.
Options include power steering, power windows, factory air, original AM-FM radio and disc brakes.
The previous owner restored the car 3 years ago. It has done 1500 miles since.
We had the car shipped over by Mick’s US muscle cars (Aust), who were very professional and helpful in bringing the car over.
We were very excited when it arrived at home on a tabletop truck. I love my new toy as it’s a tick off my bucket list.
We are now looking forward to attending runs with all the other members, and truly be a part of this great club. |
