Leigh and Liz's 1971 C3 - Membership # 589 & 590

The car was originally sold in Sacramento California, and resold in 1972 with approximately 3,000 miles on the odometer. I have a letter from the second owner & he states that he sold it in 2010 with 61,762 miles. I believe the third owner was an off-shore powerboat racer & had a few cars. He sold it on consignment to me via the dealer on the opposite coast in June 2015, with 64,180 miles. The car has had a complete restoration in the US, and in my opinion is probably better than showroom condition in most areas. I have the original owner's manual, protecto plate & tank sticker.

Details are: 454 ci 365 HP Turbo Jet V8, 4 speed, power windows, 4 season AC, 3.06 ratio rear, black vinyl interior, AM FM radio, power brakes, & posi traction axel.

All I have had to do is: re-gas the AC to R-134A, change the headlights, seatbelts, & some control arm bushes, new radials as the new period 2 ply tyres it came with didn't really handle well!
