I have always had a keen interest in American muscle cars in general. Over the past several years, I have had the opportunity to drive all the Corvettes that Warryn (MR502) has owned and developed a real passion for the C3.
In particular, I really liked the 68 and 69. It took a while to find a good one for the budget that I had in mind. I bought this one from Victoria in May this year. It had been in the country only 11 months. It’s a 327/300 hp, 4 speed.
The car was pretty much original. I have since fitted the side pipes. I was originally looking for a red, yellow, blue or black Corvette, but I am really glad I ended up with “Corvette Bronze”. The colour is fairly rare and seems to attract a bit of attention and comments.
Chrome Foose wheels are on order, which I think will look great with this colour.
